It is a peaceful retreat into solitude: one cottage on four private acres beneath a night sky filled with stars. Your hosts, Bev and Jerry Stemach, invite you to turn down their country lane and indulge yourself in this charming vacation rental nestled among ancient oaks and grapevines in the heart of the Sonoma wine valley.
Surround yourself with generously appointed comforts: shelves filled with books and movies, your favorite music on the stereo, a hot bath in a whirlpool tub, television & telephone (if you must), a bottle of local wine (just because).
If you are inclined to explore, a diverse array of activities are a short drive away: hiking in mountains or along coastal beaches, golfing on nearby courses, dining at restaurants in Kenwood, Glen Ellen, and Sonoma, and wine tasting your way through Sonoma County’s 13 viticultural regions including Sonoma Valley, Carneros, Russian River, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek. Napa Valley is just over the hill to the east.
